About Our School

Bleasdale School is an Outstanding school in the centre of the picturesque village of Silverdale in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the day school on one side of the road, the residential building on the other. 

Just 10 minutes drive from Junction 35 of the M6 motorway with good public transport links.

The School caters for pupils 2 to 19 years with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), some with associated complex needs, ASD (Autism) and challenging behaviours.

The school follows Lancashire’s holiday pattern, opening 38 weeks a year

We are currently not operating a residential curriculum. 

All our children are entitled to County transport provision.
