Primary 1

The Primary 1 class caters for children aged 2-7, covering the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.  We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 at an appropriate sensory level.  Children can join our Primary 1 class from the age of two and can build up gradually from half day to full day sessions.

We work closely with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition and offer a joined-up service where children can access physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and nursing input within the class/school setting.  All children have access to swimming sessions using a heated pool and specialist swimming co-ordinators.
